Ribeye Steak

1 thick-cut ribeye steak (about 1–1.5 inches thick) 1 tbsp olive oil 3 tbsp butter 3 garlic cloves, smashed 2–3 sprigs of fresh thyme or rosemary Coarse sea salt Freshly ground black pepper | Remove the steak from the pan and place it on a cutting board to rest for at least 5–10 minutes. Pour any remaining pan juices over the top. Resting allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a tender and moist result.
